The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) training on the Advanced Anti-Corruption. This trainning module provides an understanding of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and explores how, as the only global, comprehensive and legally binding anti-corruption instrument, it can act as a framework for the fight against corruption across the globe. The module covers five main areas: (1) preventive measures, (2) criminalisation and law enforcement, (3) international cooperation, (4) asset recovery and technical assistance, and (5) information exchange.
The training covers:
1) Introduction,
2) Anti-Corruption Policies and Bodies,
3) Anti-Corruption measures in public sector HR management,
4) Procurement and management of public finances,
5) Transparency in Public Administration,
6) Other actors – Roles and responsibilities in preventing corruption,
7) Working Group on Prevention.
